Suicide Prevention Training for Black Families & Providers
This community-based training is designed to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and equip Black families, community members, and service providers with practical tools to recognize and respond to suicide risk. Participants will learn warning signs, protective factors, strategies for having supportive conversations, and available mental health resources. Through culturally responsive education and open dialogue, this training aims to strengthen community connections, promote help-seeking behaviors, and empower individuals to support those who may be struggling.
